An exciting opportunity has become available for a Temp Sous Chef to join a 75m private yacht embarking on a truly unique adventure. Operating in remote and off-the-beaten-track destinations, this role offers far more than a typical yacht position and comes with strong potential to transition into a permanent rotational role.
This opportunity would suit a confident yacht chef who is comfortable working in a hybrid Sole Chef/Sous Chef capacity and enjoys taking ownership while remaining part of a professional culinary team.
Role
As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the galley, preparing high-quality meals for both guests and crew while ensuring smooth service standards are maintained throughout the program.
Key responsibilities include:
⢠Managing daily galley operations onboard
⢠Preparing exceptional meals for guests and crew
⢠Operating independently when required
⢠Working closely with the travelling Head Chef during owner trips
⢠Maintaining high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and food safety
⢠Adapting to changing schedules and remote cruising environments
⢠Supporting a positive and professional onboard atmosphere
