About the Position

Opportunity A newly purchased 45m private/charter motor yacht is seeking an experienced and adaptable Sole Chef to join the vessel ASAP as it launches an exciting new program in the United States. This is a rare opportunity for a confident yacht chef to step into a fresh operation and truly make the galley their own. The yacht will remain operating locally in the U.S. for the next year, with plans to build into a busy charter-focused program moving forward. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the galley, preparing exceptional meals for both guests and crew while helping establish the culinary standards onboard from the ground up. Role As Sole Chef onboard, you will manage all galley operations independently while delivering high-quality cuisine in a fast-paced luxury environment. Responsibilities include: Preparing meals for guests and 8 crew members daily Delivering refined, varied cuisine tailored to guest preferences Maintaining strong consistency with crew food and dietary needs Managing provisioning, galley organization, and stock control Operating within a dual-season private and charter program Performing efficiently under pressure during busy charter periods Upholding cleanliness, safety, and professional galley standards ChefJobs Analysis This position is ideal for chefs who enjoy autonomy, creativity, and taking ownership of an operation. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sole Chef onboard yachts
  • Strong charter background
  • B1/B2 Visa required
  • Ability to cater to a range of dietary requirements

  • Professional attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to join ASAP preferred
