Saffron Restaurant is currently seeking 4 Independent Working Chef-I professionals who are passionate about quality food, kitchen organization, and creative cooking. This is an exciting opportunity for chefs who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working independently while contributing to a collaborative kitchen culture.
As an Independent Working Chef-I, you will take responsibility for preparing lunch and dinner dishes, handling mise en place, maintaining high presentation standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You will also assist with inventory management, food safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and recipe development while helping supervise kitchen assistants and uphold professional standards throughout service.

Requirements
- We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds an MBO level 3 diploma of work and thinking level MBO 3.
- Has strong technical culinary knowledge and skills
- Shows initiative and can work independently
- Can handle stress and peak busy periods effectively
- Functions well within the dynamics of a restaurant team
- Speaks Dutch or English
- Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn
