About the Position

Opportunity Join Chaska Restaurant Eindhoven, a popular Indian restaurant in the heart of Eindhoven, Netherlands. Chaska offers guests an authentic Indian dining experience featuring traditional curries, tandoori specialties, vegetarian favorites, freshly baked breads, and regional dishes from across India. As part of a growing kitchen team, we are currently seeking 5 Independent Working Chefs (Chef-I) who can confidently manage food preparation, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a professional and efficient kitchen operation. Role Independent Working Chef (Chef-I) The Independent Working Chef plays a key role in daily kitchen operations, taking responsibility for preparing high-quality Indian dishes while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Independently prepare lunch and dinner service dishes Complete mise en place and daily preparation tasks, including cutting, mixing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure excellent taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items Follow HACCP food safety standards and workplace safety regulations Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and checking deliveries Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas Support menu development and contribute ideas for new dishes and operational improvements Supervise kitchen assistants and ensure procedures and regulations are followed correctly Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards ChefJobs Analysis This role is an excellent opportunity for chefs with experience in Indian cuisine who are looking to build a long-term career in Europe. Requirements

  • We Are Looking for Someone Who:
  • Holds an MBO level 3 diploma of work and thinking level MBO 3.
  • Has strong technical culinary knowledge and skills
  • Shows initiative and can work independently
  • Can handle stress and peak busy periods effectively
  • Functions well within the dynamics of a restaurant team
  • Speaks Dutch or English
  • Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn
