We’re currently hiring 10 Independent Working Chefs (Chef I) across both Amsterdam and Utrecht. Role As an Independent Working Chef – I, you’ll play an important role in daily kitchen operations and food preparation while helping maintain the high standards The Madras Diaries is known for. Your Responsibilities Independently prepare lunch and dinner service dishes Handle mise en place and ingredient preparation Maintain consistency in quality, flavour, and presentation Follow HACCP and kitchen safety standards Assist with stock control, ordering, and receiving products Keep kitchen stations and equipment clean and organised Contribute ideas for recipes, menu improvements, and kitchen efficiency Help supervise assistants and maintain operational standards during service ChefJobs Abroad Analysis This is a strong opportunity for chefs looking to gain experience in an exciting international kitchen without needing years of fine dining experience beforehand. Requirements

  • MBO Level 3 diploma or equivalent working/thinking level
