About the Position
Requirements
• Minimum 4 years experience as Sous Chef or Head Chef in a similar environment
• Strong background in vegetarian or health-focused cuisine (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to manage high-volume buffet service while maintaining quality standards
• Experience working with local and seasonal ingredients
• Knowledge of menu costing, stock management, and food cost control
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Desirable Experience
• Experience in wellness retreats, resorts, or plant-forward restaurants
• Knowledge of modern vegetarian / vegan culinary trends
• Experience mentoring and developing kitchen teams
• Background in sustainable sourcing and seasonal menu development
