This is more than a kitchen job—it’s a creative leadership role at the intersection of health, hospitality, and coastal living. As Head Chef, you’ll design and deliver elegant, restaurant-quality two-course dinners for up to 20 guests, showcasing fresh, diverse, and nutritious cuisine that celebrates the Mediterranean lifestyle. You’ll also prepare gourmet beach picnics and daily meals for the Tiny Whale team, curating food that fuels both body and spirit. Working alongside a small, dedicated crew, you’ll have the autonomy to craft menus, source local ingredients, and lead your assistant and hosts in maintaining the highest standards of presentation and taste. The goal: to make every guest’s dining experience a highlight of their stay. Requirements

  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a chalet, hotel, or high-end restaurant
  • Expertise in accommodating various dietary needs and restrictions
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Valid EU or international driver’s license
  • Desirable Experience
  • At least 1 year in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Familiarity with modern culinary trends and process optimization
  • Strong kitchen management and leadership background
  • Additional languages: Dutch, German, or Spanish preferred
  • Basic Portuguese a plus
