Role
As Executive Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team to oversee daily kitchen operations while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in leading all culinary operations across the property
Supervising chefs, cooks, and kitchen associates
Managing food quality, presentation, and consistency standards
Supporting menu development and culinary innovation
Monitoring food costs, purchasing, and inventory controls
Ensuring compliance with Marriott brand standards
Training, mentoring, and developing culinary staff
Leading kitchen operations during Executive Chef absences
Managing labour costs and departmental budgets
Maintaining food safety and sanitation compliance
Supporting banquet, restaurant, room service, and special event operations
Driving guest satisfaction through exceptional culinary experiences
