Roca Restaurant Byron Bay is seeking passionate chefs to join its renowned Latin fusion kitchen. Opportunities are available for both a Chef de Partie and a Breakfast Chef, offering the chance to work with premium local produce while creating vibrant South American-inspired cuisine.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established restaurant entering a new chapter, where creativity is encouraged and chefs have the opportunity to contribute ideas alongside the Head Chef.
π¨βπ³ Role
Depending on your position, responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking high-quality Γ la carte dishes
Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef on seasonal Latin fusion menus
Assisting with canapΓ©, platter, and degustation menu development
Preparing premium steak and seafood using Argentinian cooking techniques
Managing stock and minimising food waste
Maintaining exceptional food safety and cleanliness standards
Participating in training and development of new dishes and techniques
Delivering consistently high standards during busy service periods
