Prepare ingredients and assess product quality
Execute dishes using standard recipes and cooking techniques
Carry out full mise en place (cutting, mixing, prep work)
Perform quality checks during production
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
Supervise assistant chefs and kitchen workflow
Contribute ideas for menu development and efficiency improvements
Ensure compliance with hygiene and HACCP standards
Requirements
- MBO Level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent experience)
- Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Good communication skills in English or Dutch
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working across multiple service types (delivery, dine-in, catering)
